You Saved Me By Martin S Bailey

Martin S Bailey is a Indie Christian song writer Artist, Based in Oldham, Greater Manchester is 48yrs old Christian, husband, stepparent and grandad.

When you listen to this song think about the bible stories, the lost sheep and the prodigal son, it’s about the realisation when you become a Christian you didn’t realise you where lost or needed saving and what Jesus did on the cross.

In 2018 my debut EP Arise and Shine was reviewed by Cross Rhythms who said of a couple of songs “there are unintentional similarities to more famous songs in some of the melody lines. For instance, parts of “We Enter Now” sound uncannily like the 1984 Jennifer Rush megahit “The Power Of Love” whilst the upbeat Isaiah-influenced title track smacks of Thin Lizzy’s “Whiskey In The Jar”.”

In my recent Instagram post I said, I don’t claim to have the best singing voice or best keyboard talent, but that’s not what it’s about, as the bible verses say in Matt 5 13-15

You Saved Me was released 18th February 2021

You can purchase it on Bandcamp…
