Beth is closing this years feast of releases with some beautiful modern original Christmas songs that share the story of the birth of Jesus in a masterful way.
She is inviting you into the festive season with a cacophony of angelic sound and an inspiring approach to the modern carol.
Her vocals are mesmerising and there are moments on these tracks that transcend earth and capture the sound of heaven. There’s a healing quality to Beth’s voice and these songs are a prime example of that. Emmanuel was written by Beth around eight yearsago and has seen an overhaul in style and sound. Beth stating she wanted to revamp the song to appeal more to her own husband who dislikes Christmas music, setting herself a challenge that has surpassed her hopes, and as for her husband – he loves it too, she
may have converted him.
Glory Came is a more recent addition to Beth’s hefty back catalogue of music and is just a few years old. “I was desperate to release these Christmas songs, and am so glad I have managed to get them finished on time for this year, it feels poignant to end 2020 this way. I have worked hard all year on music and relentlessly written, recorded and learnt so
much about producing and lots of new things along the way, all while juggling the rigours of four homeschooled children and worship commitments online.
For many this year has been hard and an unusual year to say the least, but these songs mark a hope that we have readily available. There are no qualifications or prerequisites you have to meet to welcome Jesus into your life, and the story of Christmas is the most hope filled astonishing story there is!”
Beth explains how it was important to her to be light as much as she could and that is what has pushed her songwriting and releasing over the course of the year. This is no easy feat, especially in the music industry as an independent artist. She has laid her heart and soul on the table this year and in some ways it feels like the best has been saved for last with these exceptionally special songs.
Holy Night was released 4th December 2020
