Surrender My All (Hallelujah) Total Riddim By Nigela

Nigela releases ‘Surrender My All’ on the heels of the Covid 19 Pandemic, encouraging others to focus on Jesus. The song, which is the final installment on the Total Riddim, is produced by G Pro of Action 1 Studios ,Trinidad.

The riddim has also featured powerhouses including : Side B: Positive (Trinidad and Tobago) , Samuel Medas (Guyana) Side A: Marc Isaacs and Nathanael (Trinidad).

Nigela, being the only female on this riddim , has launched a song with a timely message, closing off the Total Riddim project. ‘Surrender My All’ was written by Nigela and features background vocals of Caribbean sensation, Vanessa Briggs.

Nigela truly believes that there is hope that can be found in Christ in any circumstance, hence her powerful message in this season.

The first verse starts off in testimonial of finding Christ as she deliberately encourages believers and non- believers alike to look to Christ.The second verse comes out of a recent encounter , where Nigela waited  on The Lord for direction , prior to making a life-altering decision.

There are many who are faced with great uncertainty, even now and this encouragement comes as many simply ‘do not know what to do’, concerning various circumstances arising out of Covid 19.

The Pre-chorus is a deliberate chant , calling Christians to lift up hands and praise God , because He has and never will fail .Then the chorus riles up hearts to surrender all unto Jesus.

Nigela believes that Christians often surrender dreams, goals, plans unto Jesus as we are encouraged to do so, but it is a constant sacrifice to also surrender weaknesses.

Nigela believes that there are many suffering from anxiety, fear, disbelief and doubt as the world is faced with something, no human has a playbook for.

The final verse then wraps up the entire heart of the song, provoking a praise dance for all God has done, is doing and will do. He is above every situation and Nigela reminds us of His sovereignty; that He is the “Conquering Lion of Judah”.

Scriptural references for the song:

James 4:8  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

Matthew 16:24-25  Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

Psalm 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
