New Level By Midili (Prod By Cuff-B Jimz & Warge)

MIDILI is a globally renowned dancehall duo known by their stage names: Dunamis Andy and GlemaVeto.

Born Andrew Chitsamba (Dunamis-Andy) and Leckson Masina (GlemaVeto), the music ministers’ ministry got the global attention in 2016 after releasing I’m Redeemed, and their presence got solid with the success of I’m Not Alone. The two songs have continued to enjoy airplay on both local and international radio stations, with I’m Redeemed becoming number 1 song on one of the most listened-to weekly countdown shows on Salt FM hosted by Shoggy Tosh and this secured a nomination for “Best Number 1 hit song in 2018″ on BIWST TOP TEN.

Go Deeper is considered as MIDILI’s first studio attempt. Recorded in 2012, the song made serious inroads into the local media with its music video earning a regular stop on Touching Base and other popular TV programs. Jamaican record producer, Don Corleon, may have released the Silver Screen Riddim in 2017, but in 2013, MIDILI jumped on the beat and what came up was a masterpiece: The One Above, a piece that still is a major hit in Malawi among the dancehall lovers.

The two have been in the studio working on new songs, and first to be released this year is New Levels . Two big names in dancehall in Malawi worked on this song: Werge of Werge Records produced the beat, whilst Cuff B recorded and mastered the song at his Big Vision Entertainment Studios in Lilongwe. Werge and Cuff B have worked with huge brands in local dancehall fraternity, either as singles or voiced on their riddims.

Andrew Chitsamba (Dunamis-Andy) and Leckson Masina (GlemaVeto) are related, Andy is an uncle to Glema. They were raised together like brothers. From childhood days to date the two continue going stronger and stronger, serving in various departments in Raised For a Purpose (RFP) Ministries with MIDILI being a part of RFP’s Music arm of ministry called The Music and Arts Ministry.

New Level was released 20th July 2019
