Hallelujah Train By Kay Morris

Rev. Dr. Kay Morris is a native of Jamaica; she was raised by two Pentecostal Minister Parents and was exposed to the two most important influences that have guided her life, spiritual faith and ministry of music. She began singing at the tender age of four and started her first Gospel group in Jamaica at the age of 17. Dr. Kay Morris is a resident of Canada and Native of Jamaica; she has worked tremendously hard to explore and celebrate her musical and spiritual roots, which she has fully embraced from Jamaica & Canada, bringing messages of love, hope, peace, and unity to the world. Rev. Dr. Kay Morris is a global Humanitarian; she is President and Founder of the Kay Morris Foundation. Her foundation caters to orphans, street children, poverty alleviation, providing books/educational materials to elementary school children, malaria prevention, maternal mortality prevention, and provides medicines to people living with HIV/AIDS in Africa. Her organization has partnered with the agencies such as the UNHCR catering to over 43,000 refugees in Africa.

The Electrifying Anointed Rev. Dr. Kay Morris takes over the stage and captivating her audiences, demonstrating her versatility in a variety of musical styles; she has ministered to audiences of more than 200K people in Zimbabwe and other parts of the world. She ministers in conferences, festivals, concerts, churches revivals & crusades, awards events, & other world class platforms including The Grammy Awards, The White House, The Stellar Awards, The Steeple Awards, and Dove Awards sanctioned events. Some of her appearances includes: Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel (TV), Ottawa Blues Fest, Barbados Gospel Fest, Antigua Gospel Fest, Praise on The Beach – Montego Bay, West Island Blues Festival (Montreal) and more. 

Rev. Dr. Kay’s music has allowed her to cross religious, cultural, and racial barriers around the world. Kay has been featured in several magazines including the Stanford “Who is Who”, His Favor Magazine, Reggae Xclusive, Hozanna Magazine, and Planet Africa Magazine.  Her music has been featured in several TV sit-coms; she also sang on the soundtrack for the short film “Sleeping Dogs Lie”. She has done TV interviews on various networks including Dr, Bobby Jones, BET, Planet Africa TV, The Nikki Clarke Show, The WORD Network, and IMPACT TV.  She has shared the stage with Presidents, Prime Ministers, Ambassadors, Government Officials, Kings and Queens and has opened for major Gospel artists such as: Kirk Franklin, Tasha Cobbs, Byron Cage, Hezekiah Walker, Ce Ce Winans, John P. Kee, Pastor Donnie McClurklin, Shirley Caesar, Albertina Walker, Kierra “Kiki” Sheard, Fred Hammond, Ricky Dillard, J.J. Hairston just to name a few.  Kay has also opened for major artists in the secular arena such as: Rita Marley, Kimani Marley, Percy Sledge, Beres Hammond, Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Luciano to name a few.

Rev. Dr. Kay Morris is a multi-faceted persona, functioning in many capacities. She is an Ordained Minister and one of the Assistant Pastor’s at Light and Life Ministries in Toronto, Canada. She holds an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree and a Bachelor of Theology Degree from the Canadian Bible College and School of Bible Theology Seminary and University of San Jacinto, California. She is an International Evangelist travelling all around the world preaching, singing, mentoring youths and young ministers, empowering women, and carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (at times in some of the most remote parts of Africa).

She is an accomplished singer/song writer, Fashion Designer, Motivational Speaker, Global Humanitarian, and International Liaison for the Atlanta based Prayze Factor People’s Choice Awards.

Spanning outward from Rev. Kay’s singing, like that of the growing branch from a thriving tree, is her advocacy work as a “humanitarian”. Her journey to becoming a humanitarian started through her music which preceded her in Africa. 2017 Kay Morris new album “Hallelujah Train” was digitally launched globally by Groove Gospel (Record Label) in Atlanta, Georgia and opened at #17 and #29 on the iTunes Gospel Charts.
